Intraday Option Trades Thread

This thread is designed for writing down any and all of the intraday options you trade.

For example: Today, at about 2 P.M. (central time)  I bought to open AAPL April 21 585 and 590 puts at $10.49 and $16.35, respectively, because I knew that it would sell off within the last 30 minutes of trading. At 2:55 (Central time) I sold to close the 585 and 590 puts at $13.80 and $20.10 respectively.

 

I have a new-found love for options and will probably stop trading shares from now on. Also, you do not need to offer an explanation, a sentence or two wouldn't hurt though, for your trades so no pressure. You can even post like this:

BUY TO OPEN AAPL APRIL 21 PUTS - 590

BUY TO OPEN AAPL APRILI 21 PUTS - 585

 

Then you just comment on your own post whenever you exit or whatever.

P.S. Do NOT blindly follow people's postings and trades and make sure to do your own research before trading.

AAPL Bull Put Spread 

 

Bought 2 AAPL Apr 21 2012 575.0 Put @ 7.52

Sold 2 AAPL Apr 21 2012 580.0 Put @ 9.56

 

Added:

 

Bought 2 AAPL Apr 21 2012 575.0 Put @ 3.26

Sold 2 AAPL Apr 21 2012 580.0 Put @ 4.46

 

 

Up $500 for the day.

Will probably be entering $16 Puts on ANR and $18 Calls on VXX today. Just waiting on entry.

I'm in May $50 calls for HOG (Harley Davidson) bought them for $1.50.

Whoops ... only had 1 contract in for AAPL 575 OTM puts when they were at .57 .... suckers hit 1.64 hahah mad.gif

Lol I did that like a week or so ago, put in for 10 contracts for F and only got like 2, but I did not notice and thought they all went through haha when ford was staying between 12 and 12.80 and it got up to 12.80 and I only had a few dollars I was ticked haha

Out at $2.78. That spike in HOG was crazy and gave me almost a 80% profit.

To compound matters they're still trying to drag AAPL down to max pain of 560 .... those puts are now at 3.00!!!!!

 

EDIT: Hit 3.55 a few minutes ago.

In LULU May $72.50 puts at $2.33.

Sold 2 PCLN 730 calls naked for 1.20 earlier today.

 

Kinda disappointed that I went that far OTM since PCLN and AAPL are POS right now, but these are expiring worthless so can't complain about $240 :)
