a stand-up desk, or spend a grand on a really nice chair, you can google some good trader chair ideas I bet... I don't have any specific ideas on a chair, but have seen the stand up desks work. Or just make sure you stroll around every 30-60 minutes.

ya ive been thinking about the stand up desk too.. but i think that would be annoying at some point.

I do stretch and take strolls just this chair as seen better days. Ill look for a fancy ergonomic chair.. maybe with a cooler attached. lol. I think its more attributed to my knees being slightly above my hips, so i need a taller chair.

If I ever get out of this trade with my shirt on my back, I dont think I will use margin ever again.

My account went down nearly 9 percent today.

Its okay though guys dont feel bad for me Im kind of used to losing lots of money on a daily basis now.

Nate, I'm not going to tell you your methods are wrong because they have worked for you so far. But to me you sound more like an investor than a trader.  With your investor mentality you do not need to be watching the day to day flucuations in AAPL, you'd probaly sleep a lot better at night too.

The same thing happened to me until I stopped feeling sorry for myself when I kept losing over and over...and worked with the market on its terms. I genuinely don't mean to be harsh, but facing the extreme anger and frustration of this head on is what saved me from blowing up my account. If it hits my stop, I'm out, even if it appears that things could work in my favor for the day. Relatively speaking, with broker fees in mind, it is cost-free to take your money out of a loser (and put it into a winner) if you are watching yourself lose money and the trade did not work out as planned.

Likewise, if you've determined that this trade (investment) is a long-term thing, then act accordingly. Watching the charts on a daily basis for a trade that you are content with holding long-term is the fastest way to drive yourself nuts, make irrational and impulsive decisions, and basically self-destruct.

If things did not go as planned for this trade, take it out immediately, regroup, and move on to the next plan. Do not focus on what it "could do," since it can do anything. It could move up $100 today, it could drop $200 by tomorrow.

Why? It should be a reminder that Apple isn't invincible and has pullbacks like any other stock.

As they say, a fool and his money are soon parted .....

Some people just never learn their lesson.  Nate has no strategy so he feels compelled to expose himself to the anguishes of a marrying a stock.

A great idea!

Also, this allows you to put a treadmill up at your desk so you can walk while at your screen. Burn some calories during the trading day!

GOOG is pretty weak in the overall strong tech sector today. Its only up about 1%.

Intraday NYMO is at a peak right now

Tempting to try a cute little short here but sitting on my hands for now and wait to see what the last half hour turns into. This action today should bounce out completely out of the oversold conditions

I typically do a few sets of deadlifts and squats while trading. Maybe some bicep curls.

With my luck I'd get "jogging fingers" and put an extra 0 in a really bad trade.
