Nate .... buddy .... it's time you start diversifying a little bit.  You lucked out that AAPL got on such a streak, but you're seriously playing with fire and asking for trouble.

Hey... now you're hitting close to home. I'd say over 90% of my trades are in

SPY
AAPL
GLD
SLV
GOOG

Most of the time when I wander I regret it. Everyone has their own style and needs to refine the methods that work for them. It appears to me based on his participation here that Nate has made great strides in the last four months. He'll need to know how to play the short side, or take time off when that time comes. That AH trade was a nice layup.

April 12, 2012, 9:36 p.m. EDT

Singapore Q1 GDP up 9.9% quarter-on-quarter

By V. Phani Kumar

HONG KONG (MarketWatch) -- Singapore's gross domestic product accelerated at a faster-than-expected 9.9% in the first quarter of 2012 from the preceding three months, leading the Monetary Authority of Singapore to tighten policy to combat inflation. The seasonally-adjusted, annualized growth rate of 9.9% was driven by a sharp increase in manufacturing output, and compares with a 2.5% contraction in the October-December period. The GDP print also trounces expectations for a 6.3% increase in a Dow Jones Newswires poll of economists. The Singapore dollar /quotes/zigman/4867997/sampled USDSGD -0.56% appreciated after the data, with the U.S. dollar buying S$1.2466, compared with S$1.2509 the previous day.

Appetizer for the main event Dave! Gonna be interesting, looks like 9% is being further priced in minute by minute via futures.

I find it amusing that on Friday the 13th, the Bernank is speaking at thirteen hundred hours. What a douche.
