Wow, awful close on the DAX, had every chance to hold above a 3% loss and sliced through it right into the close.

Technically, we're still in one hell of an uptrend, though it seems a bit more volatile over the past few weeks. If it keeps doing what it has been doing, we should see a move up to new highs right here.

Ok, morning "panic" is done.

Now we have  clear line in the sand at ES 1389 which everybody and their mother who is long will be using as a stop.

-7:1 NYSE

-9:1 NASDAQ

Internals not getting any better, odds of a bounce here are starting to look slim unless this changes when traders come back from lunch.

SOH for me until EOD unless we start flirting with 86 or 03

waiting for oil to close over 101.64 for my long signal.

would like to see NQ close over 2736 for longs.

Quick question: What is ES? Is that related to the S&P500?

ES is the S&P futures that traders will most often trade if they want to play the ups and downs of the market.

Here is my $.02.. I think tomorrow we see another 1% drop. So far our drop followed the drop in Taiwan on Monday and will see if it follows the drop on Tuesday.

If Ben comes around with that invisible hand then the bull run is still on and continue to climb after all dips which are seen as a buying opportunity but if that hand is out of this market then we can only drop from here and head further south.

NQ must have just run a load of stops there on that quick dip under 2730... wait now it wants lower. Lackluster bounce, not much in metals, Bonds were not ticking up against the market much this morning but have been drifting up in last hour. Breadth holding in the "I'm drowning" zone... very high danger... if this was a beach the red flags would all be up.

2hr charts

NQ close below my level...still short

same thing with Oil

Would like to see both close above these levels and then pullback long.
