I'm sorry Ichi but just haven't felt like updating lately. I got into ZN this morning but something didn't feel right so I just took a quick scalp. Got back into it this afternoon but I wanted to be out before 5:00. May just SOH the rest of tonight. I'll take $200 a day and be happy.

The 5 minute is really the last chart I look at.

weekly, daily, 4hr (4 month, 1 month, and weekly profiles respectively)

Also, I don't enter new positions during this session.

I don't just watch the 5min...I take look at all of those time frames together.

reversion back to the monthly POC would be nice

but price needs to get back into the daily standard auction

shown on the 5 minute above.

I like using the 5 minute but if I was going to trade monthly I would use the monthly. BTW, I put a trailing stop of 4 ticks @ 255 on ZN. I'm not going to last much longer. Nighty night. thumbup.gif If you do see me on here later I'm sleep walking. lol

To put the odds more in your favor on any trade, it's best to see the entire picture, not just a snapshot. JMHO biggrin.gif

I don't like your stop placement but that's me and my style. We're all different but here are my options with that short

depending on your time frame, risk tolerance, scale in/scale out or all in/all out strategy. 

 

Your stop placement is in a position where your short signal would still be valid which is why

I'm not too keen on it.

You're right on the stop placement. I kept it tight because I was in the standard auction and felt like it was a gamble.
