Thanks James and tones. Futures are not as easy as they look. I have made a lot of friends on this site but Ichi is a very good friend and without his help I never would have learned this stuff. He continues to help and guide me but he let's me do my own thing and never tells me when and what to trade. I just cannot begin to express what a special friend he is to me so I hope he reads this.

You are long on copper and I'll look at that just out of curiosity but thanks for posting. We either post at the time of the trade or maybe a screen shot at the end of the day because that adds credibility to our posts. Good luck on that copper.

I was long 96 overnight...stop at 91.5, got taken out. FML

I was also long 6C and go taken out. I'm frustrated as heck right now.

Time to get back to thinking like a bot and placing my entries appropriately.

Dont fool yourself with that idea. I bet both Ichi and other members spent thousands of hours reading, analising, programming, etc to reach actual level, and consistency (?) now.

Futures is no sweet game, and you cant play it same way as stocks. Your eyes must be glued to the monitor while you are trading...

Yeah, it's freaking hard.

Took over 5000 hours of screen time to see consistency in my trading.
Although, It's been a rough road the past 2 weeks but I expected this after 5 months of good trading. (more ups than downs)

it's easy in the sense of buying and selling. Hit 'buy', hit 'sell' or more likely, they'll hit the sell for you with your stop. laughing.gif

Profit Factor 1.5

bid is looking heavy - short term down.

let's see if it follows through or if it's all stuffing and we revisit the POC at 08

Just walked in the door. Played 27 holes. I will short 6B on a pullback from 1.6216

Worth a shot.

Although, looking at the daily, I'm showing a buyers auction at 6206 on that time frame.

If the short goes for you, meaning price moves back into rotation here, (failed buyers auction)

you can look to add on a break below the daily supports on the pullback IMO.

I'm going to hit ES long again at 1400.75. A crystal ball would have been nice on that first trade. lol

I just looked at bigbear's opening post for the intraday thread and now I see the job data coming out at 8:30 AM so maybe I should have waited before I bought ES again. But, we already know it's going to be good, right? laughing.gif

2 small losing trades (-3 points total with 1 car)

1 decent winner (5.25 points total with 2 cars)

3:11 or 3.67 Profit Factor on the day

This is an example of a low winning percentage

with a high profit factor.
