Just keep guessing guys.  Every single day toss out a new notion of when/why we see a top and make sure to post as many negative google links you can find.  Been hearing every reason in the book since October.  Over a long enough time frame, your guesses will eventually be right.

I don't believe it. the whole world was red today and Mr. Contrarian USA reaches new 52 week highs on DJIA & S&P500.. This is too extreme. It's like this whole thing has turned into a joke. I'm too noob to adapt to these extremes. I'm gonna sit on the sidelines quietly and watch how this unfolds...

BTW:  PCLN AH 629.95 Up38.41 (6.49%) <-- wtf??

I just don't understand why people buy stocks @ 52 week highs... is it the baby boomers? They've realized it's time for retirement & in 10 years, their picks will reach >$1000? I don't understand it at all.. For those around during 2008 crash, can anyone explain if this happened then too?

ATHENS (Reuters) - Standard & Poor's on Monday cut Greece long-term ratings to 'selective default', the second ratings agency to proceed with a widely expected downgrade after the country announced a bond swap plan to lighten its debt burden.
Bear time!

It's turned into amateur hour in a lot of ways ..... we even have a guy who posts unmarked, unreadable charts telling us how astute of a trader/chartist he is.

But we've had almost every single economic news show an improvement in our economy and that's a huge reason why we've been rallying. It shouldn't be too hard of an explanation to show that a rising unemployment rate would cause panic and fear in the markets again.

Maybe its a former member just playing games.

Guys if someone bugs you and you let them know, they will just come at you harder if their intentions are not pure, and in most cases that is part of what bugs you... self-fulfilling prophecy. Let your block member list grow, nurture it like the soul garden it is.

Most likely bump in the road this week going to be GDP second estimate (ED: Wed), first one they expected 3.2 and got 2.8... I think 2.7 or better will be welcomed with bullish jubilation. They are trying to take this retarded market to the moon, after all.

ED: Expecting consumer confidence to come in pretty decent/above exp tomorrow.

$DNDN, i read some news brief about their earnings at http://www.news-medical.net/news/20120227/Dendreon-2011-product-revenue-increases-to-242135M.aspx, i don't know if the website source matters... it looked liked they did better than last year. did they just come in way lower than analysts expected and that's why the crash?

seekingalpha: Monday, February 27, 11:14 AM In spite of beating Q4 estimates, Dendreon (DNDN -16.4%) is tanking in early trading. A possible culprit is the company'sguidance for a Q1 sales decline, though Street estimates had already forecast a sales drop.

OptionsHouse research shows Analyst sentiment:

buy 2

outperf 5

hold 16

underperf 1

sell 2

but what do they know ;) if you were holding, you lost a lot!

seems like this happened in July 2011, they fell, went pretty low, then Jan 4th seemed to double in price, but no news / reason why.  so could this be a good thing to watch?

in the DNDN forum on HSM (http://www.hotstockmarket.com/t/49666/dndn-dendreon-corp/1500) Kevin1612 assumed loss would be 31 cents  / share, turned out to be $3 / share. If anyone was shorting this, you probably did very well today...
