hey philo, if you're watching, NSRS seems like it would be up your alley. Some kind of commodity pump and dump perhaps. 50 cents a few weeks ago. Now its like 1.42 and up 23% today.

Thanks Herm for thinking about me when you saw a pump and dump stock biggrin.gif, will watch this one. At the moment, don't want to be long on any thing. Got out of DHT at 1.15, hopefully I get the dividend too since 7th is the record date and today's transaction settles on 8th.

 

Bought 800 more shares of TVIX at 14.45

bought 1000 tvix @ 14.55 on friday

sold today @14.46

 

might have jumped ship too early, but just can't see fighting tech--appl, goog

and looks like gs starting to make another run

giving up hope being short. i think bernanke will say something positive tomorrow, and i dont doubt they will bail out greece. i am just not certain of the timeframe.

Flipping puts for small profits. I think we're at a point where its better to short the pops. Upside limited and with slew of important earnings coming up, most have disappointed thus far.

Market internals are red here, AAPL can do all the lifting.

 

-1.76:1 NYSE breadth

-1.26:1 NASDAQ

 

You cant crack resistance levels when majority of the stocks are red.

 

ES 1340 was the level on Friday, we dont seem to have the strength to challenge that today.

No, more like 1100. Surprisingly, I made money mostly trading put spreads and shorting temporary tops over and over for small profits in the last 2 years of bull market. A big part of it was overvalued tech squeezes like NFLX and BIDU, SLV, not strictly SPY.

 

Only lost money in the last 2 months where I sat idle holding put spreads instead of being nimble and actively taking profits and waiting for good short entries because I thought "No way we're going past 1280"

Wow... some really nice volume on UNG just came in.  My only trade in a play right now is a small long on UNG.... I think the consolidation at these levels is almost over.
