ascending triangle now in play on the 1hr off 3/22 high of 123.48 and todays 123.47 high. Looks to want to break in the next 24hrs which aligns with everything else. Time kicking my ass on the trade though

Literally bounced off my SL that second time and ran - should have given it far more breathing room after the 655 breach. That was the ideal entry supported by 5min chart, @ 4.95 now.

 

edit: On second thought, I shouldn't have posted this.  I'm giving kyle easy ammo here.

Played off the lower VWAP band on AMZN a bit.  Tomorrow's 205c, anticipated the bounce on the way down, not cooperating with the 15min VWAP @ 203.16, took modest gains.

 

BOT 5 @ .1.02

BOT 5 @ .76

BOT 5 @ .69

SLD 5 @ .75

SLD 10 @ 1.04

 

Avg on remaining last 10 was around .89.

Regretting not selling on the AM pop (50% or so gain), bought more @ .55 though.

I like your LNKD play, looks like it wants to take out the 5min VWAP here, my Ichi 5min curving up, if you can get that cross and the vwap break could be a nice mover again

Natural inclination after last night's report (despite management shakeup) would be to short RIMM here.  I'm taking the other side, hope people are here to dispute price.  One thing I can tell you in the years that I have traded is that I have made much much more money further skewing price from perceived value, which would be the case here.  People who contest price based on valuation are generally playing a losing game, what seems contrarian to many traders often becomes the inverse play (momentum feeds momentum).  A break of 14.50 and I'm looking for a run, potentially to add more contracts.

 

In some APR 15c @ .45

Anticipating the move beforehand, trading size is adjusted accordingly.  Want to see a break of 200.30 to potentially add, in AMZN 205c weeklys @ .80

Update for me here:

 

I've picked several good trades in the last few weeks, but really really became ignorant and greedy with exits and it cost me profits and then some lol. So I've funded an optionshouse account with $3k (lotto type). I converted it to cash account so once the day trading power is used up, i'm done for the day. My goal is to use 1 to 2 trades a day pending on how confident I feel. Once the trade goes up .01, i'll set a trailing stop of 10-15%. This may cut me out of a trade quickly or not, but I need to take the selling point out of my hands, which will take emotions and greed out. Every trade I've entered this year, if i got stopped out with the 10%, i would still be up really really nice lol.

 

So cliffnotes:

 

$3k cash acct options only

10-15% trailing stop

no overnight holds

1-2 trades a day

 

Account go lives wednesday at opening bell. Will update on entry (unfortunately can't post charts at my work).

I didn't have a loss criteria, thus my comment that greed and ignorance got me. So i put funds in a separate account and see how this goes. Its a lotto account....
