LOL i dunno what barney was going to do.. just thought he would get crackin!

 

i was thinking the congressman,  said he wasn't gay nor knew about prostitutes and pot.. but now that hes retiring and wrote his fucked up bill.. hes gay going to marry his lover and they grow pot.  ... come on that dude insider traded on his frank rule... he got the HSGI, BAC, AIG, made a killing... point is that it has to be a insider.

No way it was really an insider. Just some lucky SOB. Only 77 contracts... it was a $77 investment lol  ...if someone had insider info on it, I'm sure they would have put in a lot more than $77.

NOG setting up for a nice breakout tomorrow IMO.

 

NOG 20x April calls at 0 x .10 as a lotto play. Try entering in at .05 though.

these are the times where it sometimes is best to sit out.. ya know.

everyone does it. Dont have to play it every day.. which some people dont realize, including me.

Anyone take a pure Vegas bet on opex vs earnings this week and do well?  I allowed myself one contract for s&g (hey, one can't always be serious), and after narrowing it down mistakenly chose a call for GS over FFIV.  In at 1.45, stopped out at 1.015.  The 5 min on opening looks like prices were set by a shotgun!  GS investors are as insane as its management.

 

~$50 lost, offset by +$100 in fantasy football from last season.  What I'd consider "gambling earnings" are up $50 for the year.

Spent some time thinking about why those last trades didn't work out. I have been riding these stops way to much when it's something I normally don't do with options. I usually determine an amount I'm comfortable risking and let things unfold and my PCLN 720 puts and Aapl 610 puts would've worked out fine. I didn't give it the breathing room it needed.

ITM now but took a long time. Calls haven't moved much. .11 x .16 now

^^ PNC new 52 week highs now, moving nicely.

 

65.32 on the stock, so .32 in intrinsic.

 

.30 x .38 on the calls. +183%

 

 

edit: .50 on them +316%

anyone of you guys are able to buy more than 3 options per week and have less than $25k ? cuz IB stopped me from trading for a week because i bought/sold 3 options on wednesday ffs

As long as you're on cash you can buy as many as you want. Margin restricts you to 3 round trips per 5 days.

But if I am on cash type account every movement needs 3 days to get the money liquid after you sell something, am i wrong?

lol whats with people hitting the DT rule.. i would tend to think they are aware of it before they place a trade.. as it is a emergency exit in a sense and limited.
