It would be nice to see the shit hit the fan, but we must wait until we see the leaders showing weakness.  $AAPL $CMG $PCLN

I am super biased so no one listen to me.  For the next 4-5 days including today will be red days. :)

Did we seriously just make new lows instead of gobbling up the first intraday dip?  I can't even remember the last time that happened...

not sure yet. If I do it'd only be a handful of ticks risk.

THey have programmed people to buy dips.  Today or tomorrow could mark the big one.

ES 2 hour showing a nice bearish engulfing this morning on the knock down off the morning high. We failed to get back into the buyers' control zone (hat tip to Ichibomb for this reference!) Now breadth is still clinging to positive territory, and ES has bounced a tick above the pivot. Amazingly, things are actually pretty neutral here. Majors are pretty well aligned. Was tempted to short from 1326 area but had other things to do out of the office this morning which preempted me, but I was preaching slow short entries so probably would have sat on hands anyway. Right before I left I wanted to go long, so thankfully for once real life appointments finally helped me avoid trouble instead of keeping me from glory. Dollar has yet to catch a real bid, gold/metals still in the power zone... this could all revert to "stupid rally" any time, if it's a sea change I'm comfortable letting it identify itself as such over a few days. But that 2 hr bearish engulfing was a possible canary in the coal mine, along with failure at 1321 and failure to get back in the first hour range.

Yep...everytime I see your charts I remeber Rorschach tests I made when I was at high-school...laughing.gif

"What do you see in Ichi cards (charts), young man?"

"I see pigs flying Doc, yes I do"...

Instead of annoying you, maybe you can learn something new.

I'm not a chart technician. I'm a money mover based on price and price alone.

I don't need a chart, just marked prices.

I'm trying to learn from you but I haven't seen much.

I try to learn from everyone. That's how you become better.

hahahaa! If you go through my journal you'll understand what each line/color represents.
It's actually pretty simple. highs/lows, pocs, and a custom pivot.

Hmmm, This makes me think we go down to TF 750-755, just under the basing that occurred around 760, just to shake out all those fish, then ramp it back to 825-840 later this winter, then they pull the really big ripcord after that. You stop out all your victims... I mean clients, then get a slice of them to buy back in on the subsequent ramp, and then really "let them have it."

A chart is just a visual aid. I trade price.
