I've got a problem with optionshouse?

I'm pretty new to trading.

In any case I just finished downloading the optionshouse software and Im trying out virtual trading to get used to it before I put in real money.

But when I make a purchase, it charges me the flat rate of 3.95, along with a fee which gets larger depending on how many shares  I buy

at 20,000 its over 100 bucks. Which is a problem because Im trading fairly cheap stocks.

Can someone tell me what I can do about this? or why its happening

Check their pricing for low stock values (penny stocks).

That helped, thanks.

Not so bad, I can work around it.

They have software (PC)? I have a virtual account at the moment and I've only seen the web interface. I would prefer software though. Is there somewhere I can download it?

Their rates are not great.. You should be on a per ticket commission plan. For example $8/trade no matter how many shares you trade. Negotiate or change broker..
