Covered MON short toward the EOD at $80.25.  That was a lot of work for $80 espically when the broker got $21 of it.  Daily chart looking real good as it looks like we got some distribution today.  I just didn't want to hold overnight having that much tied into it.  Will keep an eye on it tomorrow.

MU hit the 200 DMA on the daily and pulled back as I had hoped.  Made a little coin on that move.  The stock is still in overbought territory, but PPO and ADX just flat lined instead of pulling apart with some volume.  Stock put in a doji on the weekly and actually closed the week above the 200 DMA on the weekly.  Lets see if price action and volume can tell us anything next week.  Bears and Bulls in a tug of war at the moment.

On MON the daily resistance is holding and PPO and ADX are starting to at least curve some.  Stock broke to the downside of the 30 min channel today before retesting the daily resistance.  Stock did close above the weekly 200 DMA.  Again, wait and see what volume and price action tell us next week.  Made some coin on this one this week to, but I did not like that $1 spike after I shorted it.  Gave me a chance to average down though.

LVS bumping into the upper line of the wedge.  It actually closed right above it.  I almost shorted it today, but figured I better wait.  It's got a nice channel going on the 15 min, so I might wait and see if it test it, and what it does.  This stock also has a very nice weekly channel.

Sold short SEE at $18.99.  Hitting top of the channel.  Not looking for much here, just a quick flip.

Watching DE as it nears this $87 level.  I may look at starting a short position as it should be due for a breather along with the rest of the market.

Started a small short position in DE at $86.99.  Will average down if need be.

Wondering if I should have took my .50 profit on DE this morning and ran with it.  Ultimately looking for $1 to $1.50 profit.  Starting to look like my MON trade.  Stock still hasn't taken out the $87.15 high for the summer and didn't match Thursday's high today although it ended the day pretty strong.  Also pretty light volume today compared to the rest of the year.  I know it's on a breakout of an inverted H&S, but only one red candle the whole year?  Gotta be getting ready for a pullback.

DE.png

On the 30 min chart DE has a nice support line since the first of the year it's been bouncing off up to this level.  Just like the MON trade I jumped the gun and probably should have waited for a break of that support line.

On the 5 min chart volume does seem to increase above that $87 level.  Hopefully some profit taking is coming in, but could be wishful thinking since I'm sort of biased.  LOL  Hopefully I can get out of this sucker Monday or Tuesday with some profit.

Also looking at CAKE for a short opp.  See what it does next week.  Gravestone doji today and bounced off the top of the wedge.

Out of DE trade at $87.33 for a small lose.  Breaking above my resistance zones and getting some big bids around the $87 level.  Maybe time to SOH and see how high this market wants to go.

Woke up yesterday afternoon to go to work to see that the DE trade would have been looking real good.  One of the drawbacks of jumping the gun and having to hold for a few days.  I got shook out of the trade, only to see that yesterday would have been the best time to enter.  I'll learn one day to be patient and let the charts tell me what to do.

Nice long upper wick on the daily with a close back below resistance

Nice distribution on the 30 min that I bought to cover into.  Broke below the channel after the distribution.  Messed this one up by jumping the gun.  I had a good entry and opportunity to average down, but go shook out.  Looks like I would have at least got my $1 goal today.  Didn't loose a lot of money on this trade, just missed my chance.

Watching SEE to see if momentum can take it up to the 200 Day

see.png

Also watching ARCO to see if volume can pick up above the 50 day and break of this wedge.  If volume comes in should have no problem making it to the 100 day.

I also had a nice trade on AMZN today.  In at $185 this morning and out at $189 in After Hours.  That took my mind off the DE trade. LOL

Going to keep an eye on ACN around the $58 level for a possible short entry today.

Closer look at ACN and I'm either going to try and short it off a bounce of that upper trend line or a break of the weekly 50 DMA.

Also looking at TMK for a break of the wedge to go and test the 50 DMA.

Got out of TVIX this morning at the bell.  In at $16.85 yesterday and out today at $18.22.  Probably going to need a big drop to get TVIX to get a nice pop.

QIHU also successfully tested the resistance line and 50 DMA (now acting as support) and seems to be breaking out.  I actually bought a few hundred shares Monday at $17.05 and held overnight for a gamble.  I put in a limit order and went to bed Monday.  Woke up to see it got filled.  Sold Tuesday morning at $18, so not a bad trade.

All in all I had a pretty good start to 2012.  Up almost 7% and only had two loosing trades.  Going to try to play it conservative this year with smaller positions and let the trade come to me, instead of trying to force it.  Did pretty good last year, I just got a little wreckless and started forcing trades towards the end of the year.  Ate into some of my profit those last few months.

Got out of TVIX yesterday at $14.10.  If the world starts blowing up, I might get back into TVIX.  Got 12 ticks longing ISIL today.  In at $11.10, out $11.22.  Found the stock this morning doing some stock screening.  Market turning around helped my cause as well.

PKG hitting some resistance here.  Overbought and riding the upper BB.  Debating on shorting here or waiting for a double top.  Might try a small short position around $29 and double down around $31 if need be.

HUN also in the same boat.  200 DMA serving as resistance as well.  Would like to short this around the 200 day and hopefully get a gap fill.  See what today brings.  May have missed the opportunity yesterday.

HUN came within a few cents of my short target today.  I watched with the finger on the trigger but didn't get in.  Trade would have worked out nicely.

Came across GT today screening some stocks.  Retested the 200 DMA after breaking through it last month.  Also hit the upper BB today.  Might try to short it tomorrow on a pop.
