My bread and butter has been using 1hr and 15min so far. Lately I try to go for quick scalps on m5 but I think I learn recently is to be even MORE picky the lower the time frame you are.

Are you still paper trading YM? Your charts are missing the thinkAI shown on the live platform.

Maybe mine just has it...IDK confused.gif

Pretty flipping sweet trade though, live or paper!

I chart on my live and paper platform. I leave my live platform setup on higher time frame and setup a paper chart for lower time frame since I like viewing them both with different styles.

At the same time, this gives me the chance to test some new things with convenience and compare it to my live account in the long run.

I still use the same style for higher time frame as I do back when I was papertrading half a year ago. I like longer term trading a lot better but I can't stomach the higher risk that comes with it frown.gif

Which reminds me, I've been thinking about switching to a broker that uses a better charting platform and better interface... I really can't go back to ToS after using MT4. The only reason I used this is because I already had an equity account with them so it was easier setup. Any recommendations?

Nice man. That's killer. Congrats on the big trade popcorn.gif

I recommend multicharts or sierra charts with DTN IQ Feed.

I know a lot of people use Ninja but I've also heard it has a lot of bugs.

Maybe they've fixed things in 7. I'm not sure.

I'll check those out. I think I downloaded a demo of Ninjatrader but I didn't know how to set it up........

I have a confession. I am computer illiterate. Actually, make that tech illiterate. I am from the stone age.

I've been watching /CL move lately. At $10/tick, one would need some serious bankroll for this don't they... not to mention at 10k/contract

This thing is quite the beast. I can see how someone can easily scalp a few ticks a day and pretty much make a living off it...

Need to make it a goal to tame this beast one day laughing.gif

I'm with you. Someday...

Yeah, you need 2-3x the risk tolerance compared to YM.
