For the 6 months ended 6/30/05, revenues totaled $19.4M, up from $1.7M. Net loss rose 4% to $10.4M. Results reflect the presence of income from marketing services, offset by higher product development cost and increased general & administrative expenses.

Hello,

This still novice investor who has much to learn has a question.

I keep reading, time and time again, that it is usually a bad practice to "chase" after a rising stock.

My experience with this advice has proven its wisdom several times. There have been times when I have bought a stock which has been soaring throughout the day, based upon the belief of "better late than never."
Then the stock comes tumbling down.

I have noted that this stock (TGLO.OB) scored a gain of
+59.18%. That's a lot!

Yet. the sentiment on this thread seems to be in favor of the idea that it may very well be a good idea to buy this stock Monday morning.

But if I do so, wouldn't I be "chasing" another "hot stock" once again, setting myself up for another tumble?

Is there anything different about this stock that makes it a good stock to "chase?"

When is "chasing" a rising stock a good idea as opposed to the bad idea it usually turns out to be?

Please forgive me, but I am feeing a little confused about this issue.

Any guidance, opinions, and perspectives on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

It may gap, but I will bet every dime I have that it will fall and fall hard Monday imo. Typical pump and dump.

Many thanks for confirming what my "guts" were telling me. I'll take your advice and not buy.

Speaking of buying, by the way, did you ever announce your "mother of all bounce plays" that you mentioned a few days ago?

And who is doing the pumping and dumping?

I am not advocating a buy or sell, because obviously, as stated in this thread, I own the stock.

But how's this sound. I bet it breaks new 52 week highs soon...

That being said, I never advocate chasing ANY stock..there will ALWAYS be others...

That is so funny. People play these type of stocks for a living. This type of a play is called a gap and run. This and many other type plays like it, make people thousands upon thousands of dollars in just a day worth of holding. If you need a chart that reminds you of this stock, type in *ECCI*. Gapped up .13 and went up another .10 Thats .23 on your stock if you bought at the top! I never said it would close up on Monday. All i said was big time gapper with lots of momo toward the close. That indicates a gapper. Everything is indication, so learn to trade with me or speak for yourself. :-* :o 8)
