It's been a while guys, hello to all!

Really am curious, out of you HSMers here, who is full time FX, or FX/FUTs?

I wish I was full time.  I think with the right amount of capitol I could do it, but to get my hands on a million bucks is kinda tough if you know what I mean?laughing.gif

lol full time inst always a blessing. Some of the best moments are when your SOH. you over trade at times.

Swing is better in my opinion, as i started as a swing and then went full.. so yes im full as i can think of quite a few who are.

Dabble in forex due to other implications but main FUTS only and options.

just swing trading forex here

I'm a swing trader on the 1 min charts, so maybe I'm a short swing trader, cause most of my trades last 1-2 hours, but I am following a trend.

I have two revenue streams that I work 10-14 hours/day.

50% trading 50% business

Wow, thanks for the responses.

Ichi - Staying devoted, love that. You are a killer man

mjoke - So true man, over trading can be a real killer. I always try to keep a weekly trading cap on, no matter how good or bad

JLC - What's going on man, you switch completely to FX now? Or Futs?

Emptydog - 1 minute for 2 hour swings sounds pretty unique, I haven't heard of this before. Do you look at just the 1 minute chart primarily?

As I'm sure you have noticed in the futures market, we have had some gnarly moves. I am still studying futures options!

Ross, It goes something like this.  I take the indicators that I use for 30 min chart, and multiply it by 30 and use the 1 min charts.  So though I use 1 min charts I am actually trading 30 min in a sense.  It gives me a better look at when to enter and what is happening.  I don't have to wait for the 30 min bar to close in order to put on a trade, as often it is to late of an entry for me to feel comfortable.

Example:  if I was using HMA 15 on 5 min chart, I put it to 75 on a 1 min.  Give it a shot and tell me what you think.  You can do it for all time frames as long as you are multiplying it the proper amount.

This was my dream, but to gain more money than in my present job and with my small capital I would be obliged to do high profits every months... too much pressure to be held by a beginner.

Have been for last the year its been an experience ! I am looking for a job now as I am bored of being stuck inside glued to a screen. Everyone is different but trading from home can be a solitary existance. I gather some here trade from their place of work I think it depends on what you do and how tolerant the employer is. I need to get out and meet the 3 d people.
