Trading for a living

Thread Starter

Does anyone know a degree or diploma which would be the most relevant to to trading?

As far as I know there are no universities or accredited intitutions teaching people to become traders. Although Accounting and Finance are the closest I can think of.

I'd like to do this full time one day and replace my current job which pays ok but has nothing in common with trading stocks. But I think it would probably be smart to go to school and build some sort of foundation in the meantime. My employer pays for school just have to it on my own time. So any ideas for this unique career path would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The School of Hard Knocks.

Learn through experience. Trading sucessfully is relatively simple, advanced mathematics not a pre-requisite.

If you ever decide to trade for a living, be sure your daily expenses are taken care of by a regular source of income you can count on. Good Luck.smile.gif
