Should I use intra day charts only for Day Trading?

For day trading, should I pretty much only be using intra day charts? Thanks

No, use all the information you have available.

That means use the daily, then the 60min, 15min, 5min and down the tick. You have to know where you are, the only way to see around you is to look at the bigger picture first.

So I should first look at the bigger picture and then get down to smaller charts?

And when im actually going to be placing a trade, should I be on inta-days?

Thank you im very new but willing to learn

The order in which you view the data really doesn't matter. Whatever you have to do to see a clear trend. Many times I'll bounce back and forth until I'm comfortable with my decision. If you're going to day trade you should be on the intraday chart when you're placing your transactions.
