now imagine if say, dick cheney did this and was caught...........ALL of the liberals/progressives including the MSM would be cracking jokes as you are now BUT they would ALSO be causing an uproar calling for him to step down and have a deeper investigation not just into Cheney but into the entire administration...you know full well thats what would happen...you wouldnt hear the end of this for another 6 months at the least......

its the typical hypocrisy from the leftist on HERE and in America in general...

btw, did any catch Breitbart SCHOOLING the liberal media at the press conference?

here is the kind of coverage that you leftists receive:

did you purposely ignore the NOW bold part of my comment jocke?

notice my example was how the leftist media would have portrayed a conservative or right winger versus how they are trying to cover up this liberal/progressives johnson...

you can't be serious that you would think I would allow a republican to slide if that was the case?

I guess I'll go back to "trolling" the facts.......such as:

when a conservative figure is caught acting immorally the CONSERVATIVES give him/her the boot!

when a liberal/progressive is caught....................they try to cover up for him..

Probe?  A Pun from the Botox Bitch?

Did Pelosi have a DEMENTIA MOMENT and forget she's not in charge

and can't "FIX" things in the usual Democrat way or Was this a MAJOR
EMBARRASSMENT for her since she supported WEINER BOY?

I wish I was present to see the look on Weiner's face (nose & all...)

when he announced his Twit account was HACKED and he SUDDENLY

realized that meant calling the FBI and filing a FALSE REPORT of a

crime that could land him in Prison with Humpy EDWARDS!!!

They could play cell mate version of "Heidi Salami" under the bunks!

The problem is not that he tweeted sexy pics, the problem is he did not admit it from the start. He tried to cover up which was stupid.

I think he has staying power, I mean check out Newt Gingrich, he cheats on his wife who has cancer during Bill Clintons impeachment hearings and now he is a  presidential nominee. laughing.gif

im sure there will be more to come about the time Weiner spent...ON THE CLOCK...sexting...

if any hard working American was caught at work on company time sexting and using company equipment to do so......WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD HAPPEN TO THEM!

Weiner needs to be castrated

why is the theme always.. i will stay in office .. defiant towards my calls to leave..  and always when there is overwhelming evidence.

ummm leave, your fired get out, .. take a poll.. something.. shit just drag him outside and behead one of them, then we wouldn't have this common play in the book of congressional misconduct anymore.

same with the dozens of others who have come before him..  someone needs to be made a example of..

im tired of the games, .. and people have short memories.

like I said, he is one of the elites...if I had the power to vote him out he would have been gone ages ago....

now what were you saying about "CHRIS LEE"???

and I like how you worded that last part...."what cover up......there is nothing to cover up NOW"

are you suggesting that the liberal MSM was NOT trying to cover up for him? did you hear about the recent accusation that Weiners WIFE might have been a factor into this? it seems like the media wants to portray weiner as INNOCENT and accuse everyone else while its completely obvious as to what is going on here...so dont bs us about NO cover ups...there WAS as attempt at a cover up, but thankfully we have people like Andrew Breitbart who will do the dirty work and fight back against the MSM lies....dont let the liberal bias get in your way now...

The hunting accident is funny like this whole Thread.

Never go hunting with a (D)ick..

NO ONE in the world care what he showed.

Only to remember some of you. You country was run by a president who had a bj in his office..

The last one still searching for mass destruction weapons and the new one is doing the change (same) thing.

If he should step down, then only because he was so stupid to do that as a prominent figure..

ps. Whats about the magicians accident the other day.. Sound interesting. Was a democrat involved ?

and btw. i excuse for writing pretty irrelevant stuff thats not usual here, especially not on the Islam we con the world thread laughing.gif

I think Rep. Weiner's announcement today pretty much sums up the pervasive corruption that is running rampant in Washington these days. Forget the lies; what is really loathsome is how we (or our government) allows these scandals to just go by as if nothing happened without any ACCOUNTABILITY being brought ot the table. Remember Barney Frank's prostitution ring? Well, when he was caught running the scheme he was not thrown out of office. Instead, he was promoted as chairman of the house financial service committee (remember how well that worked for us?). And the list of the ongoing assaults against the people carries on...... 'Our' politicians are engaged in some of the most criminal acts (much like our dear bankers), yet these people are not held accountable for anything.

I think the point I am trying to cram in here is that we the people, or better put, our society has allowed itself to denigrate to the puniest thing possible. allowing people with power to single handledly impose their will on the people, without any repercussions. More than that, what image (or impression) do you think these scandals leave in the minds of people from around the world? Not good obviously and all of this simply plays to the determinant of Washington and quite frankly, the U.S (again, by showing how we the people have allowed these vultures to essentially seize our sovereignty).

I mean I could go on about this but quite frankly, it is pointless and just sad to see such an apathetic public. I tell ya, the U.S looks more and more like Rome (seriously). Corruption everywhere, a skyrocketing debt, poor (or underfunded) public works, an apathetic public, a declining economy and a ever growing military base complex.  Meh, enough of my ranting (ab).

If there is one thing I salute Weiner for is that he came out and fessed up on his lie, without masking the lie anymore than it needed it to be; then again, did he have any other option(s)?

Its funny you mention that from a personal perspective ...with the issues with perception in society and what certain media outlets are doing. in essence degrading society.

This was in regards to material that was stolen and produced, blacklists, congressional payoffs, etc etc.... cant go too much into it in a  public post however this expressed the same frustrations in essence.

this is not quoted from anything available on the net..

""the concentration of rhetoric of this type from the various groups has influenced a virtually hegemonic influence over the national character and impulse by a very few individuals who have arrogated to themselves dispensation from common decency, social responsibility, and the law, and thus represent a discernible threat to the countries well being and to individual freedom...

The communication superhighway will transmogrify the finical, cultural and political bare-knuckle power of enterprises which already dwarf that of the media barons of the past, we are passively witnessing the enthronement of a world-wide cartel, the attempted heist of an industry and, by implication, the heist of a nation, certainly of its culture.

Gambling and other aspects such as political and misleading news information we can expect the information superhighway to resemble less the advertised Elysian avenue to a brighter future and to a golden age of entertainment than a immense sewer leaking its toxins into every corner of our society, making us meaner, coarser, cruder, dumber, and a more demoralized people. the issue is not that a democratic society should not make allowances for the sleazier, less savory, greedier predilections of human nature. This are what some back streets are for. The issue rather is that when such predilections become, by the sheer weight of the monopolistic control and the resulting immense accumulated wealth,, the dominant culture, the results are likely to be devaluation of human values, contempt for the law and civility, the fragmentation of the bonds of community, and the advent of the worst pornography of all, the pornography of power, a fascism already visibly at work in the Hollywood community. Vice president Gore would of served us all much fore efficiently in his recent encyclical on the information superhighway if, rather than revisiting Scylla and Charysbdis, he had revisited Adam Smith, patron saint of laissez-faire, to remind us of the latter's caution that without moral responsibility and, as needed, government intervention, an unbridled market will soon corrode and harm the society it was meant to serve.

..............  What is required of our government is nothing less than the enforcement of our laws not their suspension as in the recent shelving of the applicable antitrust statutes in exchange for the proverbial beads, the hollow promise to reform and behave, or, in an even more appalling betrayal of our honorable tradition of vigilant public interest antitrust legislation and enforcement, the seeming abdication of the current administration as mirrored in Vice presidents Gores, recent call for the wholesale dismantling of the judicial and legislative restraints on the communication and entertainment industries, restraints which were enacted for the protection of the American people from what one former head of justice departments antitrust division characterized in a similar context, as " an industrial dictatorship distinctly un-American... the private seizure of power". What is needed rather is the passage of new legislation to deal with an unprecedented danger legislation barring felons from ownership within the communication and entertainment industries and more importantly,, legislation beginning the process of disassembly of the gigantism which has crushed any semblance of a free market in these industries and has fastened upon the life blood of the nation.... ""   circa 1994 personal congressional submission..

** No-One has permission or is permitted to use this or publish, duplicate or anything at all in regards to this quote.. protected; unless issued direct written permission from me. - i will hunt you down. biggrin.gif dont normally say that but have too lol.

i could go on and on, but its quite extensive..  Just shows how some people were onto what was happening, and i really in times am in awe of how much clearly do people need to make it. Hence why you and i agree so much on various issues bull lol.  However, as for weiner coming out and fessed up is laughable, when he lied peroid, said he was hacked and whatever nonsense he could think of... come on.
