How to Pick Penny Stocks

Penny stocks are unique in the investment realm as they can make swift moves in very short time frames. Many new investors come to HSM to get stock picks from others, but if you take the time, you do not have to be a follower, you can be a leader and help build and fill this community with useful information.

The best thing you can do as a new investor is to educate yourself, we can not over emphasize how important it is that you read all you can before you jump into the penny stock pool.

The most important thing you can do right now is follow these steps:

Click that thread, in there you will find answers to hundreds of questions asked by investors who came here before you. You will note a "Search this thread" link on the top right, use that search the contents of that thread to find the answer to your question. If you can not find the answer you are looking for, feel free to ask and one of our members will answer you. Note: If your question is a common one like "What broker should I use", or "What is margin" you will most likely be ignored for being too lazy to search for it :P.

2) Once you have answered your basic questions, go back to the main stock market university thread get fimiliar with technical analysis. We have a basic primer that will get you 6 months ahead of other novice investors in a mere 15min. Take this time to advance your knowledge now before you learn the hard way!

3) Now for the stock picking part of it, go to the "Learn to how to pick penny stocks like the pros by using a screener!". If you are an active trader looking for a way to pick penny stocks, you need the right tools.
