ETRM and their VBLOC is a medical device obesity play that has captured my interest after the recent trading activity of OREX.
The VBLOC EMPOWER study (a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled pivotal clinical trial) data results from the blinded portion of the study are expected during the second half of 2009. Those results could lead the way to an FDA Premarket Approval (PMA) medical device submission for marketing clearance.
