Currency quotes on your cellphone or PDA

While there isn't any real software out there for currency quotes on your mobile device, here's a quick workaround.

Pull this address up in your cellphone or PDA web browser:

http://akmeter.akmos.ru/txt/html.php...m=full&lang=en

You can add or remove currencies in the web bar and even tinker with the size. Since it's html, it should show up nicely in any mobile browser.

You can also create custom quote tables at:

http://www.akmeter.com/html/

and embedd them into your own webpage.

You can also text google (46645, GOOGL) something like USD/CAD and they will give you a conversion and a quote.

You can also get a quick text only quote from Yahoo:

http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.cs...csv&s=CADUSD=X

The Yahoo csv format is also great for quick stock quotes on a mobile device. You can get more information about the format here:

There are so many ticker applications available on the net. specially for the PDAs and Smartphones.
These applications are called Mobile ticker applications which provides latest stock and forex quotes on your Mobile..

In my last post I have discussed about the Mobile Ticker applications which are small Java applications can be installed on mobile and provide all the currency trades..
but There are some Forex brokers as well who provides such facilities (I can not write their names as it may be brake the forum rules.) like providing Currency quotes on the Mobiles and Some traders provides Trading through Mobiles as well, it means enabling your mobile to place, order and Manage account as you do with your computer...
