Difficulty level: Intermediate
*Forex should have deapth of market capabilities by late this year.

2. Complete coverage of March 9, 2007 non-farm. From 1 minute before to 10 minutes after.
*GBP/USD shown from a futures platform with real volume.

3. Scalping the non-farm fade. 10 pip scalp on a topping pattern reversal using the volatility from the non farm report.
*GBP/USD shown from a futures platform with real volume.

That was a good idea to use a .gif. I couldn't do that during heavy action though without something automated.

Didn't like the Consumer Index this morning. no suprises, so little action. Huge wick on my candle's timeframe, only 5 pip on the next candle if i hit the top and bottom perfectly, and then 4 on the next break. Glad I just didn't bother.
I guess if you toughed it out and let the trend go for an hour, you'd get a whooping 14 pips. Not even enough for a good spread bet/binary/whatever/

I wish there was something as drastic as the NFP. Can't make after-news pips when theres only a 10 pip jump.

How reliable are pivot points? I've never used them but are they similar to fib retracements where one level might hold up support/resistance?

A new tool for Oanda/FXCM people.

You can access your FXCM/Oanda account in a new trading environment. Although Quotetrader has limited drawing tools and instruments, it's a huge upgrade over what Oanda/FXCM currently provides. You can also trade stocks with Amertrade or Cybertrade at the same time.
