Did a simple overlay of GBP over EUR. GBP is the ligher color. It shows that Eurodollar reacts to how GBP moves. Sometimes GBP leads the EUR by weeks. But looking at the current time frame, blue is EUR red is GBP, Euro is leading the GBP. There must be a historical significance to this like how an inverted yield curve is the catalyst for a bear market in stocks.
Discuss.

I read that first as, GBP is leading EUR, and then EUR is leading GBP?
I've read that stocks lead commodities, so are you saying currencies lead stocks?

Stocks are affected by geopolitical and economics like currencies but to a lesser degree.

The flag on the 10 min GBP/USD chart looks like it's exausted. It's been trying for an hour to break above 196.18 but there is not enough volume to push it through.
If you look at the level 2 the bids and the offers are staggered perfectly 15:13, 50:46, 114:148... What I'm getting from that is the buyers and the sellers are battling over the price. Someone has to win here and I think the sellers are strong right now keeping the price contained.

I stopped bothering with "volume" in forex. To me it's clockwork when it starts, when it dies down, when things get crazy.
On some platforms all the quotes highlight in blue or red when action happens, the amount of blinking I get is the amount of flurry of activity. Works well. Unfortunately only the ODL platform does it like that I know of. I didn't upgrade my CMS platform yet.....
I used to stop trading the afternoons, but the last few days or weeks, I notice some action going on around NY close. Like yesterdays JPY at 3-4pm, aka 20:00-21:00GMT
