No wonder the Euro is so high!
Cocaine on '100% of Irish euros'
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6250189.stm
One hundred percent of (45 used) banknotes in the Republic of Ireland carry traces of cocaine, a new study has found.
Researchers used the latest forensic techniques that would detect even the tiniest fragments to study a batch of 45 used banknotes.
Yeah yeah... but I made you smirk didnt I?

Saw that earlier. I thought their sample size is a bit small. 45 notes only? I hope they got it from plenty of sources and not just one trip to the ATM.
But there was some other good stuff:

The results fit with scientific findings from other countries such as the UK and Spain where cocaine has also been found on a high proportion of notes.

And did you see the see also links section on the right?

I guess they didn't move "up" to meth yet! After meth and others, coke doesn't even sound that bad anymore, that's messed up.

Yes, I also thought its weird to make your headline "100% of notes tested".
Im going to test 3 notes and conclude that 100% of notes are drug free.

If you have a wad big enough, nothing in the world smells like it. The cashless society folks are missing out on the fun of money. Even if it's only a stock of ones.

Those Afghans are tough people, espically the Hazara people in the mountains. They stood aginst Alexander, Sovites, and other intruders for centuries. You can't just ask them to stop growing opium.

Can opium be used to fuel cars? Now that'd be funny. Terrorist cornering the ethanol market.
If they really didn't like opium, all they had to do is use napalm. But it's nicer to try to force people into growing wheat, mangos, or kosher pickles(in Afghanistan) or something.
