I have worked with a few people that did this. There strategy was quite interesting but I have not tested it myself. I can give your a brief picture of what they do but I do not remember exactly the facts.
They used to use a high number EMA, MA, some kind of moving average, and when it turned in favor of the swap they used to place the trade. I believe the MA was at least 60 of higher, I'm not sure.
