Rider's Great FOREX thread

I just start forex last night and already donated some money. I was trading with rpm and he seems to know what he is doing. I rolled the dice and help two over night for a 12 and 34 pip gain. I do not advise anyone to hold over night. FYI this is not a great thread but I will be posting what I get into and see how it goes.

Hey Rider, welcome aboard to Forex! RPM has a good short term plan to flip for pips which is a great method and works well. Others have some other effective methods and plans too (including myself)..

Glad to see ya here and good luck!

I HATE THIS F***IN BOARD. I'm into pennies like crazy since X-MAS, am working late because I follow the market all day at work(good thing the market closes at 1 PM here, or I wouldn't get any work done), and now after reading this thread and RPM's I gotta start a demo account and trade nites as well. What more does the board want from me.......maybe it'll be futures next.

I will just say this--be careful w/ Forex...its 100X faster and more dangerous in risk then stocks..and needs a good amount of time to watch it.

So good luck and trade safe....

Just starting a demo account...I'm pretty decent at T/A....I'm gonna take Vader's approach and make it all T/A dependent.....though RPM's quick flip seems pretty easy.....LOL, which means I don't understand it. BTW....all my money is in mutual funds and the big boards(dividend stocks mostly), I play pennies for fun and gotta admit...it's more addictive than crack.....looks like forex is ten times more addictive than pennies. Thanks for the concern...that's why I like this board.

Any thoughts about this statement?

USD/CHF gave Doodi a 20 minute early warning to sell EUR/USD when it broke it's trend at around 1:40. It was a nice 50 pip gain. As we all know CHF is the leading indicator to the euro dollar pair.

I like to follow trends as well....does anybody know of any other exchange indicators where you can get "an early warning". This seems TOO simple, but say you set an alert for USD/CHF....when it hits you jump into EUR/USD. Just a thought.

If pennies are crack--then Forex is Heroin..thats for sure. I started in Pennies--gave em up when I got a taste of Forex..been hooked for long over a year now. Its got everything I wanted...and I love the risk and the rewards. Forex is my one and only drug of choice now...

Good luck to ya, welcome to our addiction and if you have any questions everyone here is willing to help...
