Trading apps for iPhone

Hey all...just am curious to see how you all feel about trading from your iPhone? I just downloaded an app for my iPhone called ipTrader...i can access my TD Ameritrade account there. Do any of you use apps like these? Any thoughts?

iStockManager is the best thing for TDA, but there really isn't anything else for the other brokerages. If they get Java applets supported, you would be able to use the streamers from your broker to trade.

I more or less opened a TDA account just to use iStockManager to get real time quotes. I don't plan on trading or even depositing money in my account, just using it for RT over the delayed quotes through Yahoo Finance.

Reviving this Dead Thread

I'm looking at joining the masses and getting a smartphone.

How has iPhone progessed as far as mobile trading goes?

Anyone have any insight on the Android Marketplace and if the new Droid will have equal apps for trading?

That's what I just started using I haven't traded from it yet but it seems like a decent mobile platform.

In regards to trading with or accessing your account from a smartphone, is it secure? That would be my biggest concern.

ok i'm going to try and own this thread. just bought the Droid.

so far I've found a pretty awesome app. "istockmanager" syncs up with td ameritrade exclusively. the application is very stream line.. shows charts, balances gain/loss.. will update when i make a trade from it.. but just previewing the trade page it has full options including day/gtc AON/FOK .. pretty much everythign you find with any TD trading platform..

anyway i'll try and keep this updated..
