New to the board

Trader here.

Mix of day trading, though not a true PDT as I'm close to the $25K in cash but not quite there yet.

Swing trading mostly.

In from 2001-2005

Then from last October till now.

My pets were GG. Did well for the past year as GG tracked gold and the dollar but once gold went over $1000 and GG went over $40, I have now stayed away.

GE has also been doing me well going up and down for the past YTD.

I'm long GE right now and am waiting for $15.80 or so to take the profit.

I had been playing the massive ups and downs in AIG but got burned when it dropped from 44 to 37-38 and won't go back there.

I'm long in UNG and CPSL right now. CPSL on a slow Chinese play as earnings are due on the 9th and the stock is at a low and bounced off the low yesterday/today.

UNG is down as well, close to the all time low and with the roll dates coming up and winter and industrials picking up, I will sell at just under $12 or so.

Once I close out my 3 positions, I'm going to track FAZ closely and stick with GE and FAZ.

Glad to be a part of this place.

I definitely still get caught high now and then but thankfully as the market has been forgiving the past year, a week or 3 and the stock gets back to break-even and a bit more.

I also limit myself to tracking a few stocks and stick with them.

Great info on this board.

"BWrong"?

Reminds of the movie "Malibu's Most Wanted". Jamie Kennedy's lead character's name was Brad, but he wanted everyone to call him "B Rad"...LOL

I've never seen the movie but I can absolutely get what you are saying.

Back when boy-bands like Backstreet Boys and N Sync were bit, I had a roomate who was in a wannabe band and he was B-Love, lame, I know.
