*Jim Davis is a nitwit who has never accomplished anything, whether in the State House or in Congress. *

While the democrats are not the majority party in this atmosphere, there is nothing they can do or accomplish. You're creating an automatic disqualification criteria.

And a very nice story. I know I read that somewhere else before.

Hi,

He's very committed to lesser government and less government spending. Charlie Crist has proposed outrageous spending programs and can't be trusted on a no tax pledge (he's flipped back and forth on major issues in a matter of months). Crist has proposed giving adoptive couples $3,000 a year for each adopted child until the child turns 18. I can just see the abuse (grandmothers adopting all their grandkids even when there's no need, etc.).
These programs would lead to higher taxes which Max is against.

Every legislator and every congressman can accomplish a heck of a lot for their districts if they want to. Davis has the worst attendance record of any congressman and that's a simple fact.

Every legislator and congressman has the ability to propose tons of legislation. All do. Davis hardly does.

It's a good thing he doesn't. All he'd want is to tax us and hobble the education system.

Aside from that, Davis has voted against every improvement to the education system and is wholly owned by the teacher's union (who do not care about children or even teachers for that matter). He has no plans to fix the education system while Max Linn has been supported by Florida's Teacher of the Year, Kerri Walukiewicz.

Quest,

Those are some excellent points. Btw, Linn's also the only candidate who's for doing something to curb illegal immigration (deportation).

This just in according to Guy James, an outspoken web show host who I would always disagree with but who's known to be honest. Charlie Crist was Mark Foley's roomate when the two were in the Florida Legislature.

This fits with the fact that Crist is known to be gay.

Now, aside from that, the man's dishonestly (switched positions on gay adoption twice in the past few months, says that he's "pro-life" but staunchly supports Roe v Wade and is even against a 24 waiting period) speaks for itself. Whichever side you're on on these important issues, you want someone in there who's honest. Crist now says he's againt eminent domain but Donald Trump is footing his campaign bill.

To Republicans - We can't let this guy have control of the party for the next 8 years. He'd be terrible for the state and would do for the Florida Republican Party what Bob Taft did in Ohio or what Jimmy Carter did to his party on a national level.
