I've watched these all day and finally took a starter position in PBT at 16.07, not sure how long I'll hold. It pays a monthly div-- surely oil will rebound soon..

BPT is trading at almost $90. The symbols are so similar that it's easy to confuse them. Both pay about the same interest rate as well.

Yeah, These arent played much on here so I didnt want to start a different thread. PBT pays monthly and I hold both (mine are free from swingtrading them) in my ROTH and my FREE accounts, but the way the market is bouncing I sold yesterdays buy for a small profit after watching it tank early a.m.= My gut tells me oil is on sale but with the sellers racing for the doors hard to see where the dust settles...

Would you say one is any better than the other? I have wanted to add one or the other to my ROTH at some point, just haven't gotten there yet.

BPT looks to have a lower P/E but I trade PBT more because its cheaper and I can buy more shares. I swing trade (ROTH included) so I only try to keep the FREE shares.. My ROTH is hung up RED in APC right now so its on hold.. I like CEFs also DSU-HIS...
