My new job is OK,... long hours though,
basically have no time follow the stock market in order to trade, and my lunch brake is 30 minutes,...
As i get comfortable, i'll be able to follow my old routine in an organized way so that i can do some trades and monitoring of my trading account... but for now i concentrate on learning tasks.

I'm missing plenty of drops and bearish plays this week
Plenty of money to be made,.. but as i keep saying, there will always be setups and opportunities.

So no trading this week. I'll continue the 1k - 50k chanllenge next week,.. i just need to be comfortable in my work before i play around in the wonderful world of options trading

I thought i could continue trading a lot and updating the thread but it's too overwhelming with my new job that i started last week.
So i'm putting a stop on this challenge and gonna concentrate on my job,... which is market-related as ever!!.... i'll explain after...

I work for a stock market analysis firm and i'm a junior analyst,... we provide coverage and technical analysis for all north american stocks.... Toronto stock exchange, Vancouver venture exchange, NYSE, Nasdaq,...For now our customers are mostly french canadians, but we have plans to expand to english Canada and the United states.
What happens is that they assigned me for now on the canadian side, so i'm somewhat disconnected from the USA side,.. so i can't really follow my options with my usual routine,.. and since i'm still learning overthere, i don't have time to concentrate on other stuff but my tasks.

So no more 1k to 50k challenge, I'll put a message stating this thread is on hold. If anybody wants to talk to me, i'll be glad to answer on the thread, i'll just re-post the "on hold" message right after so people don't really write here anymore. I guess y'all can send me PM...
Canadian options liquidity sucks as hell,... but hey, i'm still trading NYSE and Nasdaq stock and etf options, but not a lot until i get into a rythm at my workplace.... how many times in the last month i kept warning about correction coming, Fib resistance and 200 weekly ma resistance, VIX super low, put/call ratio warning, $usd coming up again, red candles on bigger volume,...market is reversing that's a fact,... for how long? don't know ..... bought some SPY may puts monday,... holding small put positions in AMZN and MA,.... working out well....
Hoping S&P reaches 1150, and DOWJONES reaches 10700,... i'll get ride of my positions then

Y'all will still see me here on HSM in the main room in the Option Plays forum and individual stocks forums,... i'll post charts overthere whenever i find something i like when i have the time, and say whatever i'm holding or plan to buy or targets/direction on the overall markets, which should dictate the direction of our individual trades,....

Well I'm glad to see you doing well. Good call on those puts today! I hope you were able to get out and minimize losses to those long positions. How'd everyone react at work when the "big dump" took place?
