First day with Pinks with Itrade

First day with pinks....what a pain in the but with Itrade...on hold for about 3-4 minutes X 2.

Just out of curiosity...how long does it usually take once a purchase is accepted to show up as bought?

thanks for any answers to this newbie question!

Also...is there another vendor easier to do pinks with than Itrade?

thanks again

have a great day

If you do not see the shares in your account, they haven't been bought yet.

Also, how are you defining "pinks"?

Which stock are you trying to purchase?

Simon is correct if you mean a purchase. With zecco trading, orders are accepted by the MM, and then 'executed', meaning the order became a purchase. If the order is only accepted, it does not mean a purchase has been transacted, only placed.
Welcome to the wonderful world of stock trading. My first suggestion would be do do some research on investing, perhaps stockcharts.com. They have a tutorial that shows the basics of chart analysis. The more educated you become on the matter, the better off you will be, not only with the stocks you pick to invest/trade, but your financial account. I learned the hard way and used real money at first, without knowing what I was doing. I finally got a practice account and found the desired type of trading that matched my skillset.
Good luck to ya!

mjoke is a great trader
if you show the stock in your acct .. then it went thru and you own the security.
IF its not in your account then your order is pending.

Usually you have a option to look up your orders to see if they are pending to be filled or have been executed. Try TOS or someone more legit, since i never have heard of them.

1. Try Zecco

2. Your order can be accepted, but not execute. Accepted just means that your broker has accepted your order. A reason why it would be rejected would be lack of funds. Accepted does not = executed. Executed is when your order has been filled and you own the shares. Partial means that part, but not all of your order was filled. That usually happens with illiquid stocks, meaning low volume.
