Stock Jock-e what is your take on the BNI acquisition as it relates to your watching transports for the rollover in the markets? Is this nothing more than the biggest blip ever in the history of trading radar? Has Buffet finally gone mad?

so it's your opinion the billions and billions of dollars banks are using to flip stocks which makes up a huge chunk of daily volume has no impact whatsoever on the daily movements?
No big conspiracy really. The billions and billions the banks were given last year aren't being used for loans or anything.....it's just there on their books and they're flipping stocks with it.

The BNI purchase gives us a welcomed blip in transports, Ill take it for what its worth, maybe we get a relief rally, but its temporary.

Now that's a theory You're probably right. However, the only thing "wrong" there is they took money that was supposed to be used for x and used it for y. You could be wrong, but if that's true, how is this an "invisible hand." Pretty sure everyone in here agrees GS is calling the shots anyway, what's so invisible about this? Just follow them. You'll be a step behind but if you're close enough we can still profit.
