How to insert a stock chart or image into a post
There are two types of stock charts you can insert into your post, it can be a static image (a snapshot, the image will not update) or a dynamic chart (this chart updates from the site you are taking it from). If you want to insert an updating chart from another site like finviz.com, click here for instructions.
If you want to inserting a static chart or image, it is as easy as clicking a button!
To insert a chart, you need to have the URL of the image.
For PC users, just mouseover the image and right click, you will see an option to "Copy Image Location" or " Copy Image URL" depending on what browser you are using.
After clicking that, all you need to do is click the "insert image" icon:
Once you click that you will have the option of "Browse Computer" or "Image URL", if this image is coming off another website, you want the "Image URL". If the image is on your computer harddrive, then you should select "Browse Computer".
In this case we are taking an image off another website, so we click on "Image URL".
Paste the code with CTRL-V or paste and you are done!
